Canes GM Roussel took a chance on a 3 year deal not knowing the verdict outcome since he felt calling Hart's signing was what he called ''a wild card High risk high reward signing''.

Things in Raleigh were tense for a bit as per Blake Bolden of the ESPN's reporter/analyst as the question was raised.. What if Carter Hart was guilty? What then?

Carter Hart and members of the Canadian world junior team that was being given rings at a gala celebration June 17-19, 2018, in London Ontario is when the incident occured.

Hart has been working out before the trial and now that he has been acquitted he is likely to resume again. Now is the time to heal and put this behind him so he can focus on matters most to him... hockey.

We were not able to get any comments from Hart or his lawyer Megan Savard.
