New GM in Washington Capitals

The Capitals have brought in veteran GM Jani Makarainen to take the team back to the glory road to the Stanley Cup trophy.

-This is going to be a very interesting project, the team is very talent and only a 4th place in the division last year is way off with this roster. And the 1st round exit was not good enough for the team owner so they brought me in to fix that this season, says the new GM

So, what changes can we expect to happend the coming weeks.?

Let´s take a look at the team.

Forwards-

Mark Scheifele, Sebastian Aho, Andrei Svechnikov, Jakub Vrana, Kevin Hayes, T.J. Oshie, Nikita Gusev, Ryan Getzlaf.

Damn, this is top 6 guys all of them. The forward lines are stacked. The only problem here is to get everyone happy because they all cant play PP and top minutes here for sure. They have to earn it.

-So excited to get going with this team. 

Defence-

Alex Pietrangelo, is the big guy here. A lot of pressure will be on his shoulders this year. Behind him there is Darnell Nurse and Ryan Pulock, they will get a lots of minutes and hopefully help the offensive side to produce.. Deryk Engelland is another guy that will be important, but for the defensive area of the game.

Goalies-

Carey Price, one of the best goalies in the league. Cant complain about that.

The first thing GM Jani did was to get Christian Wolanin signed to a 3-year extension.

-I think Wolanin will develop a lot the coming years and I have big hopes that he will be on pro team and fight for a spot in the near future.

The first mission for new GM is the game tonight against league leaders Toronto Maple Leafs.
