Mark Stone Waives NTC

Mark Stone has waived his NTC with the Boston Bruins.  Stone and the Bruins could not come to an agreement on a new contract extension and would like to test the free agency waters next season.  Now, Stone is still an RFA and the Bruins own his rights so if he signs a contract with anyone, the Bruins can choose to match the contract or choose compensation instead if they so wish.  So, if Stone does get traded, the team that gets him will also retain his rights come free agency.

Stone has indicated the following teams he would consider a trade to:  Islanders, Avalanche, Flyers, Stars and the Predators.
