Who would have known that the Tampa Bay Lightnings would still be in the race with the trades they did in December.  GM St-Pierre was tired to see his team loosing games after games, with top superstars like Pavelski, Burns, Stastny and Dubinsky.

As of December 5th, when St-Pierre decided enough was enough, and started to rebuild the team with youngsters, the Tampa Bay lightnings are 11-2-1.  That's getting 23 points out of 28 points possible.

To resume the trades, here are the players sent packing, and party for the new arrival.

Out:

Pavelski, Statsny, Burns, Dubinsky, Semin and Rousell.

In:

Kane, Soderberg, Skinner, Tlusty, Bailey and Gagner

Gm St-Pierre knows it's still early in the season, but he really like the way the Bolts are heading in the other half in the season.  " We were barely able to score goals, and seeing score sheet like 8-2 or 7-2 victories really feel like the new arrival wants to play and show off in Tampa." coach Capuano mentioned to TSN this morning.
