Some shocking news last night who woke up the entire Tampa Bay roster this morning when they heard that GM St-Pierre pulled the trigger on aquiring Jordan Staal from the Buffalo Sabres.

After early exits from the playoffs in the last years, GM St-Pierre got tired of aquiring bits and pieces to make his team younger, faster, and always looking for the future.

This time, St-Pierre meant business!!!

" In the last years, the teams who won the Stanley Cup, are actually the teams kicking us out of the first or second round of the playoffs.  I always waited at the last minute before the deadline to make a deal for the future of Tampa Bay....and a few times I was too late.  Nothing wrong with that, but with this trade, I just speed up the process of getting closer to the Stanley Cup. " St-Pierre told TSN this afternoon. 

And a rumor was posted on Twitter, that GM St-Pierre is not done dealing.  The rumors were going around Statsny, Jackman and Ennis to be next.

" We are in the toughest division in the SIM, with team like Detroit and Boston.  They are no room for errors.  And now, Tampa just got closer to give them a run this year." Coach Capuano mentioned to the media this morning.
