Let the Playoffs "War" begin!!!!

A true test for the Tampa Bay Lightning begin tonight vs the Detroit Red Wings.  The Bolts barely made it to the wild card spot, and GM St-Pierre is not really happy with the way they made it to the playoffs.

" We actually made it to the playoff by default.  We needed to win to show we wanted to make the playoffs, but actually lost and made it because Ottawa lost too.  If Ottawa would have won their game, we would be packing the locker room at this moment" St-Pierre told the media this morning.

The Bolts did major changes during the year, and it barely paid off.  Many were to believe the Bolts would have been more higher in the standing. The reward they get to barely make the playoff....The Detroit Red Wings!!!!

" We have to get an early start against the Detroit.  We cannot let our guards down, because they have a powerful house, and can score at any moment" Pavelski told TSN.  " We barely made it, and we are not proud of it, but it's behind us now, and it's a brand new game"

Twitter   -     The word around the street is if they do not produce in the first round, a major Lightning will hit in Tampa Bay.  We all know GM St-Pierre is not afraid to make changes to his team.  Last year, he actually benched all his superstars, and recall Ahl'ers to take their places for a game to show that if you don't produce, you ain't a Tampa Bay Lightning player.

John Lu had a chance to ask Coach Capuano what the plan will be tonight vs the Red WIngs.  " It's simple, the players need to give 200% on every shifts.  If you look at the regular seasons games vs Detroit, we did not win one of them.  But if you look closely, we could have won all of them"
