GM Emond has been rather quiet since the beginning of the season. He was aware that the team didn't perform at their best, but he was convinced that things were going to be fix and was not ready to press the panic button too early in the season.

"We have a very experienced coaching staff, so I was very confident that they will find a solution. We have added several new players to our team during the summer, I think it was important to let the chemistry develop between them "- GM Emond

One of the encouraging thing this season with the Rangers is the excellent performance of Patrick Kane. Indeed, the right winger throne currently first in scoring in the league with 45 points, 2 points ahead of Eric Staal.

"Patrick is experiencing tremendous season. He is very important to our team and we are very happy to have him with us. This season he forms an excellent duet with Joe Thornton! "- GM Emond

Finally, when asked about the possibility of making changes to his team, GM Emond does not seem to be interested at the moment, but he said he remains still listening.
