Draft done! We'll probably go back to the Discord chat next year, I missed talking to you guys during the draft. I just entered all the prospects to your roster, please double check your depth chart and make sure I didn't forget any prospect.

FREE AGENCY

Go to:

UFA (Transactions/unrestricted free agents) 

and

RFA (Transactions/ Restricted Free Agents)

(scroll to the bottom to see goaltenders).


When you go check UFA and RFA, it's possible some players already got an offer as some GMs will place offers as soon as FA starts, click the second tab (UFAs/RFAs with Offers).

24 hours after the first offer made to a player, you won't be allowed to make an offer to this player so act fast.

The player will select the best 3 offers and move to the deciding section (3rd tab) for another 24 hours. In that section, you can edit your offer if you want to offer more, but you can't enter any amount less than your original offer.

Portal will select between offers.

Chance of winning the bid:

60% for the best offer

30% for the second one

10% for the 3rd one

NOTE: All players signed at Free Agency come with a no trade clause that will  automatically be lifted on January 1st 2026. But you will be allowed to trade 1 of the players signed during free agency before Jan 1st.

COMPENSATION CHARTS - RFA

 You can use picks from 2026 and 2027 as compensation picks.  DO NOT OFFER A CONTRACT TO A RFA IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE PICKS FOR THE COMPENSATION!

$1,544,424 or less None; 

$1,544,425 to $2,340,037 Third-round pick; 

$2,340,038 to $4,680,076 Second-round pick; 

$4,680,077 to $7,020,113 First- and third-round picks; 

$7,020,114 to $9,360,153 First-, second-, and third-round picks; 

$9,360,154 to $11,700,192 Two firsts, one second, and one third; 

Over $11,700,192 Four first-round picks

Reminder:  All contracts 1.8$ mil + per season, those players can't be sent to the minors, NHL only.

 Salary Cap: $95.5M

Floor: $70.6M

All teams must be between $70.6M and $95.5M by the first day of the Regular Season.

Some GMs under the salarial floor will sometime bid on career AHLers and offer them $3-4 M just to get over the floor, these offers will be cancelled. No Michael Pezzeta at $4.5M /season, okay?

Prospects: Unlimited

Max amount of active players in your roster - 25

Minimum - 20

You make sure to have enough players for each position, including at least 3 goaltenders.
