RERATES - review your roster now!

Re rates, new contracts have been applied, by next Sunday (May 24th) you will have to;

- Go over your players, check new rates and report any obvious errors.

- Go over the unrestricted players list (Transactions/Unrestricted Free Agents) and MAKE SURE NONE OF YOUR PLAYER(S)/Prospects ARE IN THE LIST, if it’s the case, report it by replying to this email. Several leagues use the same rerates file, so it happens that players’ names can be spelled differently and when it’s the case 2 different players are created (example; Washington has Alex Ovechkin, rerates file might have him as Alexander Ovechkin, then we would have 2 Ovechkins, one with his team and one in the UFA database, you are responsible to report your players found in the UFA database.
 

- Go over the unrestricted players list (Transactions/Unrestricted Free Agents) and look for your prospects and claim them, IF YOU DON’T YOU MIGHT LOSE HIM/THEM, it’s your responsibility.

When claiming them, you can ask the league (or not) to deactivate those who haven’t played 10 NHL games last year and leave them as prospects.

For each one of the prospects you are claiming, you HAVE to mention if you want to keep him active or not (only the prospects who have less than 10 NHL games last year can be left as prospect - not active).

This above is REALLY IMPORTANT, if you don’t do it you might lose some good players, you have until end of the day next Sunday, May 24th.

As you now know, there`s no AHL starting next year.  The new max amount of players allowed is 40. 

You will be allowed up to 5 buy outs for players under $1 500 000/season and 2 buy outs for players $1 500 000 and over/season at no cost.  Will send an email regarding this next Sunday.  Trades will start shortly after next Sunday when rosters will all be set up.  We also have an expansion draft next summer (2021) for Seattle and will send instructions soon so you get get prepared for this as your protection list will be done form your roster at the next trade deadline (March 2021).
