MONTREAL, QC -- The Habs recently held their 2018 prospect development camp in Montreal getting an in-depth look at 

their prospects. The following players participated in this year's development camp:

Joining the Habs from the list and likely playing for the Laval Rockets this season are D Ethan Bear and C Colin White. Both Bear and White signed entry level contracts earlier this summer. "We're excited to have both Ethan and Colin as part of our organization and look forward to them developing in Laval. We're also looking forward to the continued development of our other prospects and hope to bring more on board next season as well. The future in Montreal looks good," stated GM Mike Cooley.

 

Some of the honorable mentions from this year's development camp: G Igor Shestyorkin, G Joren Van Pottelberghe, D Ethan Bear, RW Aarne Talvitie and LW Jason Robertson. As the off-season rolls on, the team doesn't expect any drastic changes to its roster and only has four picks in the upcoming draft with only one of those in the first four rounds. Regardless, the Habs are very optimistic about what lies ahead and are looking forward to the 2018-2019 campaign.
