Dallas Stars Press Conference

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for taking the time out of their day to be with us. 

When we lost to the Detroit Red Wings inthe conference final last spring, it was nothing but a bitter disappointment. We felt we had a cup winning team. The blame is on my shoulders, and my shoulders alone. I made the decision in the off season top rebuild, but once again I failed. 

Key parts of our team last season were dealt away. In return we have recieved a few good young players and prospects. It wasnt enough. I half assed this rebuild. Part of me thinks I am still lucky enough to have a job. 

After sitting down and talking things over with ownership this morning, it was clear what myself, and the Dallas Stars organization need to do. As of right now most everyone on the roster is available. I will accept serious offers only. Everyone can be had for the right price.

Keep in mind that I am sitting right near the cap floor, so I can retain salary.
