After offering all contract extensions to almost all his players, GM St-Pierre had to open the wallet even bigger to keep the core of the team for the years to come.

All of his players denied their first offer, and their quotes were between 85% to 97% when they declined to sign with the team. When a 4 years contract with a signing bonus plus over 150% over market, and still refusing to sign, GM St-Pierre got a bit scare that he must have to rebuild at some point.   Only two players actually sign on their first offer. 

GM St-Pierre, for his first time signing extention didn't know what to expect, but after a good night sleep, he realise that some of the players could not go on the market.  So with fingers crossed, he open his wallet and signed the "core" of the team who will bring him, once again, amoung the competitive teams.

All the other players will have to prove themself this year they want to stay in the team and GM St-Pierre are willing to hear offers until the new season begin.
