Season Over for Tampa Bay!!!

The season is over for the Tampa Bay Lightning.  After a tremendous season, and a fantastic playoff run, the team is packing up their bags and cleaning up the dressing room. 

" We are all please with the performance of our players.  We had one goal in mind and it was to secure a spot in the playoff, and we made it happened " assistant Gilbeault told the media after the game.

All year long, the Tampa Bay was active trading left and right.  Making the team younger for year to come, many players will be dressing up again for a few seasons.

" I'm please with the performance of my team, but I thaught we will go further vs the Sens.  They came out more prepare than us, and showed on the scoreboard." St-Pierre told TSN.  " It was a rollercoaster all year long, and a lot of time spent rebuilding this team.  First time ever in a NHL SIM, and I'm pround to say it was a blast everyday."

GM St-Pierre took the team over and made tremendous changes along the year, when players like Stamkos, Thornton, Marleau, Chara and more came out to play for the team.  But after aquiring missing puzzles to complete the team, the Lightning are not rebuilding next year and even thinking bringing more depth in the future.  Many teams never expected the Bolts making it that far in the season, but suprised many teams when they finish second in the Eastern conference.

GM St-Pierre left the media center with a few words for all the other teams

" I gained a lot of experience in my rookie season, and suprised many teams, and also myself.  If you think the Bolts are sitting back and thinking about playing golf, you guys are dead wrong.  It's time to go back to work, and see where we were weak and fix it.  My team will be better and stronger, and that's a promise!!!"

The Tampa Bay Lightning would like to thanks a few teams for the good time this season.

Buffalo Sabres / Detroit Red Wings  -   Thanks Steeve & Paul for choosing me as GM.  Good job and efforts for making this site so addicting.  Continue the hard work, it's worth it.  And for me, more years to come for the Bolts, more Smirnoff and Crown Royal to make some bad trades.  HAHAHAHA!!!

New Jersey Devils  -  Thanks for the first round.  That game seven was nerve racking.  Could have gone both way!!!....but for the Bolts, you will be the example to make sure we don't go that route again...hahaha!!!...hard on the finger nails!!!

Ottawa Senators  -  Good job on kicking my ass!!  I will be more prepare next year, and I guess Iginla chose the right team after all for a shot at the Cup.  LOLOL!!!       Good Luck my friend, and go all the way!!!!!.......the Wings will be waiting for you!!!!

All thee other teams  -  See you next year, thank you for keeping up with my millions of emails, and of course I will have plenty to trade!!!

 ......oh and i forgot.....Edmonton Oilers.....thank you for taking Thomas out of my lineup!!!......just kidding Danny, will be talking trades for sure, and who know, he might appear again in Tampa!!!........just kidding here too!!!
