Barons advance to round 2 of the playoffs

2013-04-26

With the big club not making the playoffs, Oilers fans are left cheering for their AHL club.

The Barons didnt make it easy for themselves though, taking the Peoria Rivermen to game 7.

Adam Larson has been a standout for the Barons, posting 10 points in the last 7 games.

Assistant Captain Chris Thorburn has also made his veteran presence felt, posting 8 points and an AMAZING 75 penalty minutes

" We have a VERY talented team here" Stated Captain Jim Vandermeer

" GM Lozinski has added a lot of young pieces with a ton of talent, and they are showcasing their talent here"

Oklahoma takes on the Toronto Marlies in the second round.

GO BARONS!!!!
