After making many mega deals at the deadline, the Tampa Bay Lightning are on a winning road (8-0-2) without loosing in regulation time so far.  Adding points to their division standings, the Bolts have a "new goal" in mind....First Place in the Eastern Conference.

" Everything is possible, when it's a team effort.  Being a rookie to this NHL SIM this season, and only 2 points away to  first spot in the Eastern Conference is a great achievement. My goal, at the beginning of the season, was to at least finish in 8 spot in the conference and so far, we are closer to it." GM St-PIerre told TSN this morning.

With an amazing lead in the Eastern Division, the chances are great for the the Bolts to at least earning a playoff spot.  With the new facelift done at the trade deadline, the Bolts will continue to fight every games, every nights.

Bob McKenzie tweeted this afternoon;

" When you look at the leader, the New York Rangers, and all the teams following the Tampa Bay Lightning in the mix, the task will get harder and harder each games for them because of the experience these teams bring on the table.  If you ask me what I think about the race agains The Rangers vs The Bolts......I see The Sheriff vs The Rookie"
