A storm of lightnings when aroung the league at trading deadline last night.  GM St-Pierre did numerous trades and made moves that was shocking to other teams.

After all the moves, TSN John LU asked GM St-Pierre his thoughts of his new acquisitions.

" We had a great run this year, and I felt bad trading players like Thornton, Marleau and Elliott.  They were the players who brought us on top of our division.  But in the long run, they are not that young, and also quite expensive.  Trying to re-sign a UFA making 7 millions, will be hard to judge on how many years you give him."  GM St-Pierre told the media.

" Around the league, the new wave is too get younger and faster.  And after all the move I made, we are younger and will be faster.  Also, we were weak in defence, and with the acquisition of Yandle and Byfuglien, we are much stronger now"
