Hey fans!  It’s Crystal! The Team Leader of the Lightning Girls

Words cannot express how thrilled I am to be back for my second season as a Tampa Bay Lightning Girl.  Through the audition process, I once again was reminded how talented, intelligent, genuine, and beautiful every woman on the Lightning Girl squad is.  It’s so amazing to be in a position where I can exercise my passion for dancing and performing while being a positive role model in my community.  I’m very blessed to have another year to be apart of it.

Aside from all the glitz and glamour of being a Lightning Girl, I am a 1st grade school teacher.  Everyday is a new learning experience for me and my students.  It truly is a blessing to have a successful and fulfilling career as well as dancing in the process.  I enjoy being outdoors, trying new restaurants, attempting new hobbies, laughing, traveling, singing, and more than anything spending time with my precious family.

I personally wanted to thank my parents for encouraging my to chase my dreams while not losing sight of who I am in the process.  They taught me the importance of life and I try to exemplify it everyday.  Remember to dream big and strive to reach those dreams!

I am ready and anxious for another season of high enthusiasm from our dedicated fans!  Let’s go Lightning!
