Cup Finals

The story continues for the Ottawa Senators after a huge game 7 win to advance to the Staley Cup finals.  The battle of Ontario was everything you would expect with a tight battle the entire series.  The Senators took a commanding 3-1 series lead that was just too much for the Leafs to overcome.

Billy Young almost jumped out of the press box with excitement.  Taking over a gutted roster last season he has managed to get the Senators into the finals with some bold moves acquiring huge pieces like Pavlec and Iginla.  The Senators now will face the team that has been pegged as the favourite since day 1 this season in the Detorit Red Wings.  The Senators will look to a strong defensive game, solid goaltending and their veteran leaders to help guide them to their first Stanley Cup championship.
